What is the difference between mg, mcg, mL, and units?

mg and mcg measure the amount of peptide: 1 mg = 1,000 mcg. mL measures liquid volume. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL. The peptide amount in each unit depends on the concentration.

What does the highlighted syringe show?

It shows the calculated volume on a 1 mL U-100 syringe illustration. For example, 50 units fills half of this syringe. Your actual syringe may have a smaller capacity or different markings. Check both before using the result.

How many doses are in my vial?

The displayed count is the total peptide amount divided by your entered dose, rounded down to complete doses. It is a theoretical count; it does not account for waste, liquid left in the vial, or storage and expiry limits.

Why does my result exceed the syringe?

The calculated volume is greater than 1 mL, the capacity of the illustrated syringe. Check the dose, unit, vial amount, and water volume with your pharmacist or clinician. The graphic stops at full and does not suggest splitting a dose.
